About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Triage & Early Interventions Officer. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to victims and witnesses of crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual assessments of impact and risk, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to support.
  • Provide immediate and short-term interventions via telephone to individuals affected by crime.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and other support agencies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role or setting, with a strong understanding of trauma and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize a busy workload, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
