Job Title: Experienced ISVA - Victim Support

Job Summary:

Victim Support is seeking an experienced Independent Sexual Violence Advisor to join our team. As an ISVA, you will play a crucial role in providing non-therapeutic support to victims/survivors of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and assess the specific needs of individuals who have suffered sexual violence.
  • Develop individual service plans that address these risks and needs.
  • Provide non-therapeutic support to victims/survivors, delivered face-to-face or via telephone, text, and/or email based on client preferences.
  • Attend relevant meetings and provide regular reports to your line manager.
  • Undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service in the community.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people from all areas of the community.
  • Assist with monitoring, evaluation, and administration of written statistical reports for external funders.
