Exciting Opportunity in Shopper Marketing

Join Vertical Advantage as we seek a talented individual to enhance our shopper marketing efforts within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility across both physical and digital retail spaces, ultimately boosting sales and enriching the shopper journey.

Role Objective:

The primary aim of this position is to elevate brand recognition at the point of sale, both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Retail Media Efficiency: Optimize the effectiveness of retail media investments across the UK and Irish markets.
  • Agency Management: Oversee relationships with shopper marketing agencies and customer media networks.
  • Data Utilization: Analyze campaign data to assess impact and refine strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise one direct report.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain influential relationships with key omni-channel retail contacts.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the shopper marketing budget to maximize ROI and ensure precise financial management.
  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement improvements in execution processes.

Further Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development: Formulate comprehensive retail media and shopper marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives and retail partner goals.
  2. Campaign Execution: Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, in-store promotions, and events.
  3. Retail Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with retail agencies to ensure effective marketing strategy implementation.
  4. Performance Measurement: Use analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and generate insights for future initiatives.
  5. Budget Management: Ensure optimal resource allocation for maximum campaign impact.
  6. Team Development: Lead and mentor one direct report, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  7. Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance shopper engagement.
