About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at ENS Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Accompany the individual to community activities, such as shopping, social events, and leisure activities.
  • Assist the individual with meal preparation and cooking.
  • Support the individual with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in the care sector, supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to drive a manual car.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.
