About the Role

Sense is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Technology Solutions to lead our IT team in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This is an exciting new role focused on designing and delivering technical solutions across Sense, including cloud solutions, connectivity, applications, and end-user compute. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering change to these technology solutions, ensuring an efficient and well-managed supply chain to meet the organisation's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior managers across Sense to translate strategic priorities into practical projects and programmes
  • Lead and motivate a geographically diverse team of engineers and analysts to deliver on their personal targets and objectives
  • Own the technical platforms and architecture for the technology estate, with a focus on application and user experience
  • Establish and deliver technical roadmaps for all platforms
  • Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition

Requirements

  • Experience of managing suppliers in a multi-supplier environment
  • Knowledge of cyber security principles and experience of implementing security measures
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery from concept to in-service
  • Project and programme management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
