About the Role

Sense is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the design and delivery of technical solutions across the organisation. This exciting new role will focus on the development of cloud solutions, connectivity, applications, and end-user compute, ensuring efficient and well-managed supply chains to meet the organisation's needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering change to these technology solutions, including cyber security, training of staff, and testing of incident responses. They will lead a team of infrastructure and application solutions analysts and work closely with suppliers to deliver corporate, coherent technology solutions that meet the needs of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior managers across Sense to translate strategic priorities into practical projects and programmes.
  • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders to deliver on personal targets and objectives.
  • Own the technical platforms and architecture for the technology estate, with a focus on application and user experience.
  • Establish and deliver technical roadmaps for all platforms.
  • Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience of managing suppliers in a multi-supplier environment.
  • Knowledge of cyber security principles.
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery from concept to in service.
  • Project and programme management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
