Overview:

The Video Production team offers comprehensive video solutions to support the global operations of Kinly. This encompasses everything from video file transcoding to the creation of tailored video productions.

Role Summary:

The Video Production Specialist is responsible for overseeing all facets of video production, providing support to the Video Editors during the post-production phase, and assisting the Video Production Manager in enhancing service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute current video production services to meet established expectations and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the Video Production Manager to refine the service delivery model for video production, focusing on quality enhancement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction through precise reporting.
  • Oversee video projects from inception to completion, which includes collaborating with the Senior Editor to develop initial concepts, documenting processes, managing budgets, and working closely with creative leads and editors to realize project visions.
  • Act as the department manager in their absence.

Duties:

  • Deliver video projects in accordance with defined expectations and service levels.
  • Compile and maintain documentation related to the Video Production service delivery process.
  • Ensure clarity for end-users regarding service/project expectations, including:

Deliverables: Defined outputs; Timescales: Project timelines; Costs: Budget considerations.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and global Video Production teams regarding project/service delivery.
  • Complete all necessary documentation updates related to Video Production services, including:
  • Project Statements of Work
  • Project Schedules
  • Cost Estimates
  • Production Call Sheets
  • Risk Assessments
  • Project Proposals
  • Post-Project Evaluations
Coordinate project resources, including personnel, in-house equipment, and additional assets.Schedule recording sessions and production activities, including event post-production and various project recordings.Collaborate with the Creative Lead to transform client briefs into actionable projects.Assist in refining the service delivery model for video production to foster improvements in quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Gather feedback from end-users to identify areas for service enhancement.Update relevant documentation and standard operating procedures in line with agreed service improvements.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient Administrative Skills
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Understanding of video codecs and compression techniques
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Trello
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive teamwork abilities
  • Capability to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues
