About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Community Safety Unit as a Monitoring Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe environment for residents and visitors to North Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and assistance to the public on anti-social behaviour (ASB) and out-of-hours homeless services via a range of communication methods.
  • Operate a CCTV monitoring service, identifying and reporting faults, and assisting with access to the building.
  • Collate information, produce reports, and input data to relevant systems.
  • Work in a secure, controlled environment, undertaking radio and telephone communications as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of North Lanarkshire geographical area and CCTV systems (desirable).
  • Experience of working in a call centre background and moderate IT skills.
