Job Title: CCTV Monitoring Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Community Safety Unit as a CCTV Monitoring Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide advice and assistance to the public on anti-social behaviour and out-of-hours homeless services.
  • Collaborate with retailers, partnership agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve community safety.
  • Input data into relevant systems, assist in information collation, and produce reports as required.
  • Work in a secure, controlled environment and undertake radio and telephone communications as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and respond to sensitive situations.
  • Knowledge of North Lanarkshire geographical area and CCTV systems (full training provided).
  • Flexibility to work a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, including night shifts.
  • Ability to obtain an SIA Licence, including a full police check.
