About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Canon EMEA. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in leading pre-sales activities, technical support, and product development to maximize sales figures for our Imaging Technologies & Communications Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-sales activities for Imaging products and develop customers mainly from professional and B2B fields in EMEA.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers, cooperating with Canon HQ and 3rd manufacturers.
  • Support product launching activities from a technical point of view, including marketing asset creation, internal training, and new product testing.
  • Collect market information and technical trends in the EMEA region, summarizing customer requirements and providing feedback to Canon HQ.
  • Participate in new product development activities from Canon Europe, including hardware and software development, and integration with 3rd party products.
  • Support exhibitions from a technical point of view, planning contents, devising technical configurations, and supporting sales activities on site.
Requirements
  • Sufficient knowledge and skills of optical, mechanical, electrical, and software technology.
  • Knowledge and experience of Product Development or Sales Engineering.
  • Familiarity with imaging products and industry.
  • Ability to continuously assimilate technical, marketing, and sales information through self-study to aid analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to deal with the different needs of a culturally diverse market.
  • Ability to make decisions through logical investigation and analysis.
  • Fluency in English, with other European languages beneficial.
  • Business outcome-driven, ensuring delivery of outcomes, and customer-oriented.
