The Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, working with a group of four individuals with mixed learning disabilities and mental health needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to live their best lives, promoting independence, and encouraging them to explore their local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Encourage and support our service users to engage in activities that promote their interests and aspirations.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and dignity.

Requirements
  • Experience of working in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
