Intelligent Transportation Systems Growth Manager

In line with our expansion plans, we are in search of a proactive and seasoned Intelligent Transportation Systems Growth Manager to become a vital part of our organization.

Position Summary:

As the Intelligent Transportation Systems Growth Manager, you will be instrumental in defining our consultancy services division, spearheading growth by identifying and pursuing new business avenues within related ITS sectors. You will also offer strategic insights to clients and ensure the successful execution of projects. This role involves leading and nurturing a team of consultants, collaborating with various departments, and driving initiatives for business development. This position presents an exciting chance to engage in pioneering projects, contribute to advancements in the industry, and significantly influence mobility solutions.

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in business development to guide our foray into related Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of our existing services and the ability to leverage industry expertise to foster growth. With a well-established traffic engineering division and a team of 35 specialized traffic engineers, the ITS consultancy team will build upon this solid foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, comprehending their requirements, and pinpointing opportunities for collaboration. Provide expert guidance on ITS solutions, traffic engineering, and related sectors. Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations. Project Leadership: Oversee comprehensive project delivery, from initial scoping and planning to execution and assessment. Coordinate project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Monitor project progress, budget, and resource allocation. Team Management: Direct and mentor a team of ITS consultants, promoting a collaborative and innovative work atmosphere. Offer guidance on both technical and strategic project aspects. Conduct performance evaluations and professional development planning. Business Development: Examine the market to uncover new business prospects, strategies, and partnerships. Identify new business opportunities and assist in proposal development. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote our ITS consultancy services. Attend industry conferences and networking events.

Essential Skills:

Strategic Thinking: Capability to formulate long-term plans and strategies. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients and internal teams. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market trends and data to make informed decisions. Sales: Proven success in sales and business development.

Required Qualifications:

Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field (Master's preferred); or equivalent experience. At least 10 years of experience in ITS consulting, traffic engineering, or related roles. Comprehensive knowledge of traffic management systems, intelligent transportation technologies, and urban mobility trends. Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills. Project management certification is advantageous.
