Job Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading Events Management business to recruit a Live Events Technician on a permanent basis due to growth. The business provides services to corporate events, mainly taking place on weekdays, with some weekend working required. The role offers flexibility regarding working hours and an understanding that this is not a 9-5 job.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review jobs with colleagues to ensure equipment specified can meet requirements.
- Set up, prepare, and test equipment on premises prior to going on site.
- Liaise with clients and brief, direct, and coordinate on-site crew when required.
- Set up and operate equipment for events, ensuring a high-quality experience for clients and attendees.
- Collaborate with colleagues to increase AV experience and produce successful events.
- Ensure the successful execution and creation of great-looking events, demonstrating success through client satisfaction and event quality.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in event production and technical support.
- Contribute to a positive and dynamic team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the success of the business.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
- Perform other duties as required to support the business and achieve its objectives.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in event production, technical support, or a related field. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to learn and develop skills are also required.
