Warehouse Worker

You will be working both alone and part of a small team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

The role would best suit and upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoys working systematically and productively. You will require a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry your tasks. Unloading/Loading and picking and packing can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stopping, reaching and lifting.

**Key Duties**

The position provides a varied day that includes:

- Loading and unloading the vehicles, containers and trailers
- To check all products when receiving delivery for quality, quantity, date and damage
- To report any shortage or damage to consignments and record any such occurrences on the required documentation
- Ensuring it is put into the correct warehouse location
- Achieving pack accuracy and cost targets for department
- Ensuring a high standard of good housekeeping, health & safety, cleanliness and security
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained by regular stock counting and location checks.
- Liaising with sales, operations and purchasing department queries
- Ensuring general administration is accurate and timely.

**Desired Experience**
- At least 2 years recent warehouse experience
- IT literate

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
