Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Breast Cancer team at Work Learn Live Blmk. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supportive care and information to patients and their families in the outpatient setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work closely with the breast care multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive support and care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a patient-focused approach to care.
  • Assist in the management and organization of the nursing service in all clinical cancer areas.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse with the NMC or working towards.
  • Degree in Nurse-related specialty or working towards.
  • Mentorship or teaching qualification.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
  • Computer/IT literate.
  • Cannulation and venepuncture skills.
  • Intravenous drug administration skills.
  • Port a caths, and PICC.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrates awareness of current changes in the NHS, particularly related to nursing.
  • Evidence of further education, training, and ongoing learning.
  • Knowledge of clinical effectiveness, research, and audit.
