We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team at Work Learn Live Blmk as a Chemotherapy Staff Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with breast cancer.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide supportive care and information to patients and their families in the outpatient setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of patient care to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Work closely with the breast care multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive support and care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a patient-focused approach to care.
- Assist in the management and organization of the nursing service in all clinical cancer areas.
- Current Registered Nurse with the NMC or working towards.
- Degree in Nurse-related specialty or working towards.
- Mentorship or teaching qualification.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
- Computer/IT literate.
- Cannulation and venepuncture skills.
- Intravenous drug administration skills.
- Port a caths, and PICC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of clinical effectiveness, research, and audit.
