Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our senior leadership team in Children's Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operational line management of Health Visitors, driving improvement across the service, and providing clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational management of the Health Visiting team, ensuring effective delivery of services and high-quality patient care.
- Providing clinical leadership, maintaining standards, and promoting best practices within the team.
- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the Health and Social Care Partnership to achieve strategic objectives and improve services for infants, children, and their families.
- Managing budgets, clinical governance, staff training and development, and clinical audit to ensure the team's operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Nursing.
- Education to Degree level.
- Post-Registration Qualification in Public Health Nursing, Health Visiting, or School Nursing.
- Management qualification is desirable.
- Current clinical experience working with and/or within Health Visiting/School Nursing.
Working Arrangements
This role requires a UK driving license and car ownership. The working week is 37 hours, with the option to work 37.5 hours in some areas until the department can safely accommodate the reduced hours.
