Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and caring Team Leader to join our close-knit team at Doonbank House Care Home. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the high standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent care and support to residents
  • Ensuring high standards are always maintained
  • Supervising, leading and motivating care assistants
  • Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs
  • Administering medication as instructed
  • Monitoring, responding and reporting on the wellbeing of residents

Requirements:

  • Caring and motivated person
  • Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with dementia
  • Confident and experienced to lead a care team
  • Qualified to SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
