About the Role

Project Risk Engineer

As a Project Risk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Controls Manager to ensure the effective execution of the risk management framework across various project segments. This position is essential for the identification, evaluation, and planning of responses to potential risks that may impact project success.

You will be part of a growing terminal that holds significant importance for the energy infrastructure and supply security. We are recognized as the largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Europe, with extensive operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor all project-related risks, ensuring that each risk has an assigned owner, appropriate mitigation strategies are established, and risks are resolved when successfully managed or accepted.
  • Assist in identifying emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular risk review meetings with project teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that both qualitative and quantitative risk analyses are conducted in line with established protocols and standards.
  • Provide regular updates on risk status to management and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Document and formalize project risk management procedures, philosophies, and processes.

About You

  • Solid understanding and experience in risk management methodologies.
  • Experience in project execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-driven, and a proactive approach to achieving objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Office for creating project schedules on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Membership in a professional organization, such as PMI or APM, is preferred.
