Finance Compliance Manager

Veetee is in search of a Finance Compliance Manager to spearhead the documentation and enhancement of standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines for compliance and oversight within the finance division. The ideal candidate will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure thorough internal control evaluations and financial statement analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance to internal stakeholders on initiatives for process development.
  • Negotiate timelines for projects aimed at process enhancement.
  • Oversee post-implementation reviews to ensure ongoing improvements.
  • Advise stakeholders on the design and functionality of processes.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive procedures library to support team efficiency.
  • Effectively manage partnerships to collect flowcharts and narratives.
  • Implement financial oversight tools and oversee their application.
  • Conduct risk assessments and testing of internal controls.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on internal control systems.
  • Coordinate accounting submissions and audit processes.
  • Stay informed on financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Provide necessary financial data for audit purposes.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a related position.
  • Proven experience in documenting financial processes.
  • Experience in FMCG or with a Big Four firm is preferred.
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is required.
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
  • A positive and proactive approach to challenges.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - Office Based
