Field Service Technician

We are currently looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on the maintenance and repair of various equipment, both at our facility and on-site for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct servicing of plant machinery, particularly pumps, within the workshop.
2. Perform extensive repairs on machinery as required.
3. Restore end-of-life equipment to operational condition through refurbishment.
4. Assist in the handling of pumps and generators using specialized equipment such as Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift Truck.
5. Maintain high standards of service and upkeep for all equipment.
6. Report significant issues to the supervising personnel.
7. Follow all health and safety protocols in the workplace.
8. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and accident documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ, Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Mechanics or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant mechanical experience with the ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with plant machinery, pumps, generators, or related equipment.
Preferred Background:
- Experience as Mechanical Fitters, HGV Mechanics, or Car Mechanics.
- Proficiency with diesel engines.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
