Position Overview
Are you a skilled Civil, Structural, and Architectural Technician looking for a new challenge within the nuclear sector?

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CS&A Architectural Technician to collaborate with a leading engineering contractor. You will be instrumental in developing detailed design drawings that support significant projects.

Your Responsibilities
As an Architectural Technologist, your core duties will include:
  • Producing architectural design packages that cater to our clients' immediate and future needs.
  • Engaging in small to medium-sized design tasks with a focus on quick turnaround times to support operational requirements.
  • Executing design tasks as directed by the PFDO CS&A Responsible Engineer or Lead Architectural Technologist.

Key Duties Include:
  • Designing building envelopes, architectural detailing, and environmental considerations.
  • Specifying materials and employing building information modeling techniques.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process.
  • Conducting site surveys and assessing existing structures for architectural performance.
  • Producing design models and drawings using the Autodesk suite, including AutoCAD and Revit Architecture.
  • Preparing Planning and Building Regulation applications.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • ONC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the Autodesk suite of software.

Preferred Skills
It would be advantageous to have:
  • Knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations.
  • Progress towards accreditation with CIAT or RIBA.
  • Relevant design experience.
