General Manager - Leisure Centre

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our large leisure centre in Oldbury, offering high-quality fitness and swimming facilities, as well as outdoor pitches and tennis courts.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, recruiting, coaching, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service, reflected in our NPS scores. You will also be responsible for delivering on key financial targets, building and developing partnerships with local schools and community groups, and analysing business performance to keep the business on track.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure your teams are set up to meet and consistently deliver operational excellence.
  • Recruit, coach, and inspire your managers and teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Deliver on key financial targets for DD membership, learn to swim, casual swimming, and pitch bookings.
  • Take a proactive approach to building and developing partnerships with local schools and community groups.
  • Constantly analyse business performance, data, and trends to take appropriate action.
  • Foster an outstanding Quest accreditation and the highest levels of health and safety.
What We Offer

In addition to a competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience, the position offers enrolment onto the local government pension scheme and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
