About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our Centre Management Team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of our leisure centre, ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of operational staff to deliver excellent customer service and centre operations.
  • Contribute to the business and budgetary performance of the centre, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Develop and implement events and activities that promote community engagement and customer participation.
  • Ensure the centre is maintained to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Duty Management or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service and centre operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a level of autonomy and decision-making confidence.
  • Passion for the leisure industry, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
