Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality makeup applications that meet the brand's service menu standards
- Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases
- Maintain specialized product knowledge and reinforce brand application techniques with the team
- Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintaining consistent appointment bookings
- Analyze sales data and create strategies with management to meet and exceed sales targets
- Share knowledge to provide exceptional and personalized customer service
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a memorable customer experience
- Manage customer feedback and use it to continually improve service, sales, and retail standards
- Adapt to changing business needs and take on additional responsibilities as required
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and products
- Lead masterclasses and training sessions to educate colleagues and customers
- Replenish stock, maintain a clean and attractive counter, and ensure high hygiene standards
- Build a loyal customer base and drive repeat business
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures
- Champion the company culture and values
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Lead Makeup Artist
- Ability to perform high-quality makeup applications that meet the brand's service menu standards
- Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
- Social/digital portfolio of work with a significant following (preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Self-driven and motivated to upskill and learn
- Able to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
