Position Overview

As a Senior Tax Advisor at Evelyn Partners, you will collaborate closely with Assistant Managers, Managers, and Directors within our team, engaging with a diverse range of professionals to enhance your expertise and service delivery.

Your portfolio will encompass a variety of private clients, focusing on both established and emerging wealth. The team places a particular emphasis on serving private equity executives and their families.

Our Director in Private Client Tax has shared insights about the team's vision and the unique character of our office environment. This perspective highlights the advantages of being part of a larger organization while maintaining a distinct identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of services to clients, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets while nurturing client relationships to foster new business opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
  • Coordinate with other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions to clients, including Accounts and Corporate Tax services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering tailored tax strategies and solutions, while assisting senior team members in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of junior staff by providing constructive feedback and facilitating their technical and personal growth.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a professional services environment with a robust understanding of various private client tax matters, particularly complex capital gains and inheritance tax issues.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with the ability to convey intricate concepts to clients, coupled with the skill to ask insightful questions for effective tax planning and advisory services.
  • Proven track record in cultivating new business and establishing profitable, long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in people management and organizational leadership.
  • Qualified as a Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser - ACA / CTA.
