Position Overview

Join a dynamic and collaborative team at Evelyn Partners, where you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment alongside a diverse group of professionals. As a Senior Tax Consultant specializing in Private Clients, you will engage with a variety of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and families, particularly those involved in private equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of tax services to clients, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients while reviewing the contributions of junior team members.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions to clients, including Accounts and Corporate Tax services.
  • Monitor work in progress and prepare billing documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting senior team members in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing constructive feedback and aiding in their professional development.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience in a professional services environment, with a deep understanding of complex private client tax issues, including capital gains and inheritance tax.
  • Strong technical expertise and the ability to convey intricate concepts to clients effectively.
  • A holistic approach to client service, considering the broader financial landscape.
  • Proven experience in managing tax planning and advisory projects, as well as navigating complex compliance challenges.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA or CTA.
