Position Overview

As a Senior Tax Advisor at Evelyn Partners, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including Assistant Managers, Managers, and Directors, to manage a varied portfolio of clients.

Your client base will include individuals with both established and growing wealth, with a particular emphasis on private equity executives and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of services to clients, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while nurturing client relationships to foster new business opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Coordinate with other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions to clients, including Accounts and Corporate Tax services.
  • Maintain robust client relationships by delivering effective tax strategies and solutions, while assisting senior team members in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support the growth of junior team members through timely feedback and assistance with their technical and personal development.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a professional services environment, with a deep understanding of complex private client tax issues, including capital gains and inheritance tax.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and the ability to communicate intricate concepts clearly to clients, with a focus on effective tax planning and advisory services.
  • Proven track record in cultivating new business and establishing long-term, profitable client relationships.
  • Experience in people management and organizational skills.
  • Qualified as a Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser - ACA / CTA.
