We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at Pro-Tax Recruitment. As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service and managing complex tax affairs for high-net-worth individuals, private equity executives, entrepreneurs, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their tax needs are met.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of personal clients, focusing on high-net-worth individuals, private equity executives, entrepreneurs, and trusts.
  • Compliance and Advisory: Ensure timely compliance with client and regulatory deadlines, monitoring time limits and elections. Proactively engage with clients on advisory matters, assisting with tax planning projects, including succession planning, capital gains, and inheritance tax issues.
  • HMRC Enquiries and Correspondence: Handle HMRC enquiries, disclosures, and correspondence, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Billing and Budgeting: Oversee billing and budget monitoring for assigned projects, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Team Support and Development: Review compliance and basic advisory work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship. Deliver technical training sessions to support the development of junior staff members.
  • Business Development: Engage in personal and team business development activities, staying up-to-date on technical knowledge and ensuring adherence to internal procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
