Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with SECS/GEM communication protocols.
  • Experience in MySQL/Postgres server development.
  • Proficiency in VB/C# application development and object-oriented programming.
Main Responsibilities

  • Create and implement innovative solutions for engineering analysis and manufacturing automation.
  • Grasp DevOps principles and various software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Effectively interface with other software systems, including maintenance and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Diagnose code and process challenges in a varied production environment.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including Infrastructure, IT Security, and Helpdesk.
Qualifications

  • NVQ in Business or a related qualification.
  • Degree in Computer Science.
  • ILM Level 2 certification.
