Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in the ongoing enhancement of our sourced materials, components, and assemblies. This is achieved through diligent monitoring, testing, and documentation of issues to mitigate the risk of both actual and potential product failures.

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will collaborate within a dynamic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians in the Quality department, working closely with Engineering and Operations teams.

Your responsibilities will include identifying failure modes in products and components, which will lead to the formulation of effective corrective and preventative measures. You will also develop methodologies aimed at enhancing process inspection and verification. Collaborating with the Operations team, you will strive to improve inspection and verification processes while fostering visual awareness of quality metrics and communication throughout the organization to support activities aligned with business objectives.

This position is ideal for an individual who excels in both collaborative and independent work environments and possesses strong communication skills across all organizational levels.

Required Experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of various quality tools and methodologies, including PPAP, 8D, and the 5 Whys.
  • A background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection is essential.
  • Experience in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
  • A solid understanding of the manufacturing process, specifically the transformation of raw materials and components into finished products.
