Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspection Technician to join our team. As a Senior Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of NDT inspection techniques on components, pipework, and structural assemblies to ensure acceptability to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out effective NDT techniques on components requiring inspection, including conventional and digital equipment.
  • Utilize Rope Access capabilities when required, working at height for long periods of time.
  • Perform rope access inspection safely in harsh environments, ensuring regular breaks are taken.
  • Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification.
  • Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used and results of the inspection, including any limitations or test restrictions.
  • Ensure function tests are performed according to procedure on all NDT equipment, and faulty equipment is detailed back to the supervisor.
  • Carry out risk assessments and take necessary actions as required.
  • Ensure inspection is carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification.
  • Ensure correct rope access equipment is utilized and harness is worn at all times.
  • Perform rope access inspection safely in harsh environments, ensuring regular breaks are taken.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of NDT inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to work at height using Rope Access techniques.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
