The ANDT Engineer plays a crucial role in facilitating the technical execution of all ANDT methodologies in alignment with corporate protocols.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the effective planning and organization of ANDT inspection operations, ensuring that all work scopes are executed proficiently, within budget, and in accordance with established company procedures.
  • Ensure that all ANDT & RRT personnel are adequately trained and possess the necessary competencies.
  • Manage and support the ANDT site teams on a daily basis, fostering effective communication and collaboration between Bilfinger and the client.
  • Assist in the development of Inspection proposals, ANDT CTR's, and CAPEX requirements.
  • Contribute to the review and updating of ANDT Technical procedures.
  • Support ANDT technical qualification trials.
  • Provide technical assistance across all projects and address client integrity challenges or technical inquiries.
  • Conduct site visits (both onshore and offshore) to supervise, audit, and support onsite ANDT/NDT operations.
  • Offer technical guidance regarding the development, validation, and implementation of innovative technologies, techniques, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in delivering both conventional and advanced NDT methods for in-service and newly fabricated products.
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT, PA & TOFD is required.
  • In-depth understanding of common integrity challenges within the renewables and oil and gas industries.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the benefits and limitations associated with conventional and advanced NDT methods.
  • HNC or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in organizing and supervising inspection/NDT work scopes.
  • Professional demeanor, approachable attitude, proactive mindset, and strong organizational skills.
  • High level of personal integrity, confidentiality, and transparency.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
