Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective planning and organisation of NDT inspection activities, ensuring all work scopes are delivered efficiently, competently, within budget, and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assistance in the preparation of Inspection proposals, NDT CTR's, and CAPEX requirements.
  • Technical support to all projects and assistance with client integrity challenges or technical queries.
  • Conducting site visits (onshore and offshore) to supervise, audit, and support onsite NDT/NDT delivery.
  • Providing technical support with respect to the development, validation, and implementation of new technology, techniques, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ten years of experience in the delivery of both conventional and advanced NDT methods covering in-service and newly fabricated products.
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 UT, PA & TOFD Minimum.
  • Detailed knowledge of common integrity challenges within the renewables and Oil and Gas sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of the advantages and limitations of conventional and advanced NDT methods.
  • HNC or higher qualification in an engineering subject.
  • Experience in the organisation and supervision of inspection/NDT workscopes.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
