Job Summary

Bilfinger is seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspection Engineer to join our team. As an NDT Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our site teams, maintaining effective interfaces with clients, and providing technical support to projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support site teams on a day-to-day basis, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of inspection proposals, ANDT CTRs, and CAPEX requirements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Review and update ANDT technical procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist with ANDT technical qualification trials, ensuring the development and implementation of new technologies and techniques.
  • Provide technical support to projects, assisting with client integrity challenges and technical queries.
  • Conduct site visits to supervise, audit, and support onsite ANDT/NDT delivery, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
  • Develop, validate, and implement new technologies, techniques, and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring the development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in delivering conventional and advanced NDT methods, covering in-service and newly fabricated products.
  • ISO Level 2 UT, PA, and TOFD minimum.
  • Detailed knowledge of conventional and advanced NDT methods, including their advantages and limitations.
  • HNC or higher qualification in an engineering subject.
  • Experience in organizing and supervising inspection/NDT workscopes.
  • Professional, approachable, proactive, and organized.
  • High level of personal authenticity, confidentiality, integrity, and transparency.
