We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist - Homelessness Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving mental health care and support for individuals experiencing homelessness in Waltham Forest.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation and supervision to local providers of homelessness services in the borough
- Offer specialist consultation and clinical input to complex cases experiencing homelessness across the directorate
- Collaborate with other psychology services to ensure a smooth pathway for service-users and their families
- Lead the homelessness offer in line with national best practice, NICE guidance, and expectations from professionals across the Trust and other agencies
- HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Post-qualification experience of teaching, training, and consultation to psychology and non-psychology colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience of leading initiatives addressing inequalities
- Experience of psychological assessment and treatment of clients with complex psychological needs in adult mental health
- Experience of working with high levels of risk and severe mental health difficulties
- Experience of working with hard-to-engage populations and familiarity with principles of assertive outreach
