About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a specialist in refugee mental health, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and therapy to adults with a history of forced migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for complex and severe mental health problems, including trauma.
- Work therapeutically with interpreters and provide specialist knowledge of evidence-based psychological approaches to trauma.
- Contribute to the supervision of assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists, as appropriate.
- Participate in research, audits, and service evaluation, as well as the development and provision of training focused on working with asylum seekers and refugees.
