Fitness Instructor

The Fitness Instructor will be responsible for delivering a high-quality fitness experience for our customers by leading fitness classes, providing gym inductions, and conducting health assessments. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
About the TeamThe Fitness Instructor will join Northumbria Sport, a department within Campus Services, responsible for delivering an excellent student experience through sport, fitness, and wellbeing programs. The role will be based at Sport Central, a multi-purpose sports facility and events arena located in the heart of Northumbria University's City Campus.
About You- You will have excellent verbal communication skills and experience delivering customer service excellence in a busy gym environment.
- You will be qualified to instruct at least 3 different group exercise classes and have knowledge of how to set, monitor, and evaluate health and fitness goals.
- You will have a good understanding of how to behave appropriately with members and colleagues.
