About the Role

We are seeking two permanent Senior Support Workers to join our friendly team at Positive Step in Doncaster. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and facilitating access to new activities and leisure interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users with personal, nutritional, social, and emotional needs in line with individual care plans.
  • Facilitate and promote independence, enabling service users to make informed choices and decisions.
  • Support individuals in accessing new activities and leisure interests, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement and review person-centred support plans, therapy plans, and ensure up-to-date knowledge of individual care.
  • Write clear, factual, and accurate reports of individual care, monitoring forms, and report any concerns to the duty Manager.
Working Arrangements

You will work a rota pattern covering 7 days a week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts will be between 06:45 and 22:15 hours, with flexibility being essential.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have up-to-date knowledge of individual care, be able to write clear and accurate reports, and have the ability to work flexibly. You will also need to be able to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service check at an enhanced level.
