We are seeking two permanent Senior Support Workers to join our friendly team at Positive Step, Doncaster. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and facilitating access to new activities and leisure interests.
Key Responsibilities- Support service users with personal, nutritional, social, and emotional needs in line with individual care plans.
- Facilitate and promote independence, enabling service users to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
- Support individuals in accessing new activities and leisure interests, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement and review person-centred support plans, therapy plans, and good practice guides for care planning.
- Stay up-to-date with individual care by reading referral documentation, care plans, and unit communications systems, and attending daily staff handovers.
- Write clear, factual, and accurate reports of individual care, monitoring forms, and ensure any concerns are reported immediately to the Duty Manager.
You will work a rota pattern covering 7 days a week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts will be between 06:45 and 22:15 hours, with flexibility essential.
