About the Role

We are seeking two permanent Senior Support Workers to join our friendly team at Positive Step, Doncaster. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and facilitating access to new activities and leisure interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users with personal, nutritional, social, and emotional needs in line with individual care plans.
  • Facilitate and promote independence, enabling service users to make informed choices and decisions.
  • Support individuals in accessing new activities and leisure interests, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement and review person-centred support plans, therapy plans, and good practice guides for care planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with individual care by reading referral documentation, care plans, and unit communications systems, and attending daily staff handovers.
  • Write clear, factual, and accurate reports of individual care, monitoring forms, and ensure any concerns are reported immediately to the duty Manager.
