About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Care Specialist to join our team at Chestnut Tree House, a children's hospice providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with nurses, nursing associates, healthcare assistants, activities coordinators, and a child and family support team to deliver high-quality clinical and personal care.

Our team operates a 24/7 rota, offering a range of shift patterns to suit your needs. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals, including adult, learning disability, and pediatric nurses, and will be supported by a comprehensive development and preceptorship program.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and confidence
  • Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive community
