About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Messaging Operations Analyst to join our team at HSBC. As a key member of our Agile squad, you will be responsible for leading the innovation of campaign delivery, creation, and building of complex campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver complex 1:1 multi-channel/multi-step customer communications, leveraging expertise in core data repositories and tools (SAMS/CIM/VCX/SAS/PEGA/SQL).
  • Collaborate with the Agile squad to deliver business requirements, focusing on continuous development, knowledge sharing, and peer-to-peer feedback.
  • Lead on campaign delivery innovation, re-engineering existing campaigns to maximize the use of new systems and data sources.
  • Identify and resolve system/data issues, ensuring the delivery processes are followed and risk controls are completed.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with customer data and campaign selection.
  • Contribute to backlog discussions to prioritize workload against business objectives and adapt to change.
  • Embody and promote Agile delivery methodologies, leveraging tools like Jira/Confluence to update progress and contribute to regular meetings.
  • Balance and prioritize multiple demands and requirements from stakeholders.
  • Make timely decisions based on complex and incomplete information.
  • Identify and define issues or problems, participating in meetings to resolve them.
  • Bring structure and order to undefined problems, making them easier to address.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policies, processes, and controls.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation within large complex databases and extraction of data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-solving skills and resolution management.
  • Advanced level skill set of core data repositories (SAMS/CIM/VCX/SQL/SAS).
