Nurse Deputy Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Cramlington, Northumberland. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care and ensure that all company policies, regulations, and care plans are adhered to.
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards care, staff welfare, and training.
  • Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the resident's quality of life.
  • Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home.
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
