Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Engineer to join our team at PSR Solutions. As a Construction Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out for the project: You will be responsible for setting out the project site, ensuring that all necessary measurements and calculations are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Interpreting and executing from construction drawings: You will interpret and execute construction drawings, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications.
  • Supervising contractors and subcontractors: You will supervise and direct contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Producing permits, risk assessments, method statements, work package plans, and task briefings: You will produce all necessary documentation, including permits, risk assessments, method statements, work package plans, and task briefings.

Requirements:

  • Relevant HND/Degree in a Construction/Civil Engineering field: You will have a relevant HND or degree in a construction or civil engineering field.
  • Experience working on civil engineering projects: You will have experience working on civil engineering projects, including roads, highways, drainage, earthworks, and other associated infrastructure.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable): You will have a SMSTS or SSSTS qualification, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Track record of working on similar projects: You will have a track record of working on similar projects, including setting out, interpreting and executing from construction drawings, supervising contractors and subcontractors, and producing necessary documentation.
  • A background in any civil engineering discipline: You will have a background in any civil engineering discipline, including roads, highways, drainage, earthworks, and other associated infrastructure.
