Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines, performing preventative and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

About the Role:

  • Report directly to the site Maintenance Manager and work closely with the production/technical team to ensure minimum downtime of production.
  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance in line with production schedules and work with other departments to ensure production cycles stay on schedule.
  • Take pride in the day-to-day running of our manufacturing lines, ensuring that all equipment runs smoothly.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from an FMCG environment, ideally in the food industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
