Teaching Fellow in Film and Exhibition

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Teaching Fellow in Film, Exhibition & Curation at the University of Edinburgh.
About the RoleThis fixed-term position is intended to provide and plan teaching and supervision across our innovative postgraduate programme, MSc Film, Exhibition & Curation. The successful candidate will contribute to the administration of the subject area, including course organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and supervise students on our MSc Film, Exhibition & Curation programme.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of course materials.
- Assist with the administration of the subject area, including course organisation.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and learning practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Film or a relevant area, or the professional equivalent of PhD study from the fields of film exhibition or curation.
- Relevant teaching experience in film.
- Experience in teaching and marking in film or the moving image.
- Evidence of fluency and proficiency in English.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, including the capacity to create teaching materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
