Join Hourglass as a CAMHS Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Nurse to join our team as a CAMHS Practitioner. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with young people and their families to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of young people and develop effective care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless care transitions and discharge planning.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on mental health issues and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions to ensure the highest quality of care.

Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Experience working with young people and their families in a mental health setting.
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
