About the Role:
The company is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Cost Consultant to join its dynamic consultancy team.

As a Mechanical and Electrical Cost Consultant, the role primarily involves being based on client sites, with minimal need to report to a head office.

The team structure supports intermediate and junior staff with a team leader and a log book, while more senior members are afforded the autonomy to manage their projects independently.

The types of projects you will be working on include data centers, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and various other projects within the commercial sector.


Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management and Estimation:
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for M&E projects.
Conduct thorough cost analysis and effectively manage risks.
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within agreed limits.

Tendering and Procurement:
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other essential documentation.
Review and negotiate contract terms with contractors and suppliers.
Oversee the procurement process for materials and subcontractors.

Financial Reporting:
Generate regular financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage the resolution of any financial disputes related to projects.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project costs and contracts.
