Kier Group is seeking a Lead Mechanical & Electrical Cost Consultant to become a vital part of our MEP Division for an upcoming initiative.

Location: London

Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Explore our flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Mechanical & Electrical Cost Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our Kier Build teams, ensuring seamless integration across projects.

Daily Activities Include:

  • Overseeing adherence to the procurement strategy, including managing subcontract inquiries and evaluating tenders.
  • Administering valuations, cash flow management, and turnover projections, along with regular cost reporting and progress tracking.
  • Offering legal and contractual guidance on orders and modifications, including the management of notices and subcontractor relations.
  • Leading commercial strategies, developing margin enhancement plans, and assisting team members in capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior personnel, ensuring that workload objectives, deadlines, and commercial responsibilities are fulfilled and reviewed monthly.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical & Electrical Cost Consultant who possesses:

  • Experience in a contracting environment with a solid technical grasp of MEP systems.
  • A comprehensive understanding of various contract types.
  • The capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
